Observation #1 - If you want to start a thread on this message board, you have to put the word "Official" in it, otherwise it's not official. So I'm not even sure what I'm doing replying to this unofficial General Observations About Life Thread, when I should be waiting for the official one to pop up.

Observation #2 - People with NASCAR stickers on their vehicles drive like THEY are in a fucking NASCAR race, as opposed to a public road or school zone.

OJ is the greatest cure to a cold.

don't know what it is...but any time i'm feeling a little under, a start swilling OJ and within 5 minutes i perk up.

when people are given just a little bit of authority and then they instantly think they are better than everyone else......... yeah, that amuses me

    I second this.

I've often noticed people who gripe about something and when you offer them the perfect solution they blow it off. Sometime later, they'll finally "think of" your solution and implement it and it works like a charm, and yet... your efforts at square one were totally unnoticed. It's not about getting credit, it's about people fuckign listening to outside perspectives when it's appropriate and seriously considering them.

Nowhere in the writings of Nostradamus or in the history books is there one instance of him saying "I CALLED IT!!!". Yet my friends do so for the most mundane of predictions.

    love :includes

    curiousity
    committment
    enlightenment
    beauty
    sensuousness

I thought love would wrap me like a warm blanket, but I realized it makes me feel light and gives me wings to fly

the abundance of life is given when we know it will be from the moment of each new day. Abundance is an assumed when we assume why not. I have to say it is HARD to get to that place, but it's possible!

Oddly enough I realized these two profound things during my coffee project. I guess it was a pilgrimage of sorts.
There is no such thing as leftover pizza. There is now pizza and later pizza. - anonymous
The risk I took was calculated, but man, am I bad at math - The Mincing Mockingbird
